Application
Toluene is used in the production of benzene, is one of the main components of the most common solvents, is used in paints industry, for example in the road markings production. Toluene is a precursor, it exhibits a weak narcotic effect. Personnel must be careful while working with toluene, its vapors can penetrate into the human body and cause damage to the nervous system. Personal protective equipment must be worn while working with this product. Production facilities must be provided with supply and exhaust ventilation, and equipment – with local exhausts. It is a flammable liquid.
